Katrina Robinson, a phenomenal empowerment lecturer, author, preacher and single parent lives a commitment to improving the lives of poverty stricken individuals. The teen parent turned college graduate and empowerment speaker has much to say about the journey from a poverty mentality into REACHING FULL POTENTIAL. The road to transition from welfare to entrepreneurship was not easy, but Katrina Robinson is committed to sharing the intimate details of her personal and career successes and failures. Once homeless, sleeping in a Ford Taurus, experiencing bad relationships, rape, abortion, single parenting and being adopted she has much to say. As a single mother of two, she is acquainted with the challenges of responsibility, discipline, parenthood and perseverance.

“Potential is much more than a career, it’s learning hope, building self-esteem, discipline, and thinking before you choose intimacy. A brighter tomorrow often starts with saying no today.” Her self-published book entitled “Poverty to Potential” was launched out of a series of workshops developed under the Federal Welfare to Work Initiative in MD. The book has evolved into workshops, quarterly conferences, and now inter-state meetings. Poverty to Potential also has a marketing enterprise and weight loss branches. Katrina Robinson has authored several books including “Yes Women Can Preach”, “The Cycle Begins”, and two on the horizon “Poverty to Potential – Weight Loss” and “An Army of One”.

She possesses a Baccalaureate and Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration and Accounting respectively. She is a graduate of Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore and Sojourner Douglass College in Baltimore, Maryland. She has years of experience in training, education, and grants management. Because of her unique background and training style, Katrina is affectionately known as “Pastor K” along the Southeastern corridor. She is the CEO and Founder of the Poverty to Potential movement, Pastors the New Testament Center and serves as a mentor to people of all walks of life.

Her vision is to incorporate Poverty to Potential Workbooks into all Work first, Pre-Release and High School life skills programs. She also desires to host a Poverty to Potential radio broadcast and television show.
